Biographical Sketch - Ron Clouzet 
Ron Clouzet is Dean of the School of Religion and Professor of Theology and Ministry at Southern Adventist University, home to the Wood Museum of Archaeology and the Pierson Institute of Evangelism and Missions where some 160 theology majors have led over 4,800 souls to baptism in the last five years. In addition to administrative responsibilities, he has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in ministry, preaching, prophetic guidance, evangelism, the Gospels, and Christian spirituality. In 1999, he received the Excellence in Teaching Award.
Dr. Clouzet has been invited to speak at many church and scholarly gatherings in the U.S. and abroad to present or preach on various topics such as the Holy Spirit, ministerial training, and Christian devotions and discipleship. In June of 2007, he will become the new director of the North American Division (NAD) Evangelism Institute (NADEI) as well as the new Ministerial Secretary for the division.
Dr. Clouzet graduated from La Sierra University with a B.A., Andrews University with an M.Div., and Fuller Theological Seminary with a D.Min. degree, having researched on the subject of Adventist theological education. He is currently working on a Th.D. degree from the University of South Africa, studying the baptism of the Holy Spirit in the writings and experience of Ellen G. White.
For 12 years, Elder Clouzet was a pastor in California before he began his teaching ministry. His last church grew from 210 to 630 members in five years, including close to 200 baptized converts. The church=s giving quadrupled, and the ministries led by lay members multiplied to make a clear impact in their community.
Dr. Clouzet is married to Lisa Clouzet, a professional counselor and hospital chaplain, and they have three teenage children, Christoffer, Alex, and Stefani. Lisa Clouzet has also accepted NAD=s invitation to work at NADEI as an associate.
