Listen to Marilyn's Story (Spanish)

As of April 2012, Marilyn is associate pastor for children and women’s ministries of the Spencerville Church in Maryland. She is the pastoral advisor for Kingdom Kids Sabbath School divisions, from birth through fifth grade, and pastor for the Spencerville Polar Cubs Adventurer Club, with 104 members. Other areas she advises are: Community Services, Deaconesses, Discover Bible School, Salt Shakers, and teaching ministries.

Marilyn enjoys working with people of all ages; children bring her the greatest joy. She is passionate about sharing Christ through Bible study, and bringing people to a deeper and closer relationship with Him. Servant leadership, spiritual gifts, discipleship, and eschatology are of high interest, too. Before moving to Maryland, she partnered with her husband, Greg, in ministry in several districts in New York and Massachusetts. She has served the Adventist church close to 20 years. The Scotts have one daughter, Kaiya Kretschmar, a student at Washington Adventist University. Marilyn enjoys reading and spending time with friends.
