Listen to Melissa's Story

As of April 2012, Melissa’s passion for youth and children began in high school and at Camp Frenda (both located in Ontario). This has been the driving force behind her choice in ministry and, combined with a deep need to share the love of her Savior, has led her to her current post as associate pastor for children at the Aldergrove Church in beautiful British Columbia. Spending time with children and young people has helped her keep her own youthfulness. Melissa enters into board games, snowboarding, and rock climbing as eagerly as into a Bible study or Vacation Bible School. Melissa holds a BA in religious studies from Canadian University College, where she also spent some time studying Outward Pursuits, developing her love for all things nature-related.
