Listen to Karen's story

As of April 2012, Karen is the Evangelism Director for The Healing Place, an outreach center located in downtown Denver. She is the former director for the Bible worker training program for Rocky Mountain Conference. Karen has authored the Lifting up Jesus Bible lessons for adults and children as well as developed a “relational” approach to friendship evangelism utilizing the LUJ lessons in a 16 week training program format. Karen’s background was primarily in marketing before the Lord led her into full-time ministry in 1999. She is currently enrolled in the MA in pastoral ministry through the Theological Seminary. Karen’s passion is leading others to Jesus and is a champion for Bible workers. She and her husband, Steve, enjoy doing ministry together and are
the proud parents of two adult daughters and a 1 yr old grandson, Kessler. They enjoy taking Kessler to the zoo, park and other fun activities.
