Listen to Michaela's story

As of April 2012, Michaela works as Advent House chaplain and director of Adventist Christian Fellowship for the Georgia- Cumberland Conference. Michaela began her journey in the fall of 2009. She believes in ministering to the students on public university campuses, a desire that was sparked when she became a student in 2001 at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Michaela holds an MA in English literature from the University of Illinois and an MDiv from the Theological Seminary at Andrews University. She is most passionate about helping others see Jesus more clearly so that they can enter into a deeper relationship with Him, one that compels them to share Him with others. Michaela is married to Justin Jeffery, who works as a graphic designer. They live in Knoxville, Tennessee, and are active members of the Knoxville First Church. They enjoy doing creative things, such as music and watching HGTV and the Food Network.
