Listen to Patricia's Story

As of April 2012, Patty has served at the Forest Lake Church in Apopka, Florida, as full-time media and worship pastor for the past 15 years. For the last four, she has been the executive producer and one of the directors for the filming of Hope Sabbath School for Hope TV. Prior to that, she was the producer/director of Downtown Community, a creative contemporary service provided by the Florida Hospital Church for people who were seeking to know Jesus. She began her denominational employment in 1971 as a teacher in the Michigan Conference and has served in the Southern New England Conference, moving to the Florida Conference in 1979. Patty thrives on helping to create visual tools to enhance the worship service and sermon delivery. She has a passion for supporting authentic, meaningful experiences for anyone who sits in the congregation or watches on-line. She enjoys making pottery, working in the flower garden, and traveling to the Kalahari, South Africa.
