Listen to Carmen's Story

As of April 2012, Carmen attended Pacific Union College, obtaining a BA in theology in 1991. Before graduating, however, Southeastern California Conference graciously offered to sponsor her to the Theological Seminary at Andrews University, where she received her MDiv in 1993. She then moved to Southeastern California Conference, and began working in Hispanic churches. Her ministry focus for the next 10 years was children, youth, young adults, and women. Carmen left the Hispanic work when she was called to the Azure Hills Church, a multi-cultural English-speaking congregation. She served there as a children and family ministries pastor for about seven years. Although it was difficult to leave such a great congregation, Carmen felt God calling her to a new challenge. Carmen has had the privilege of ministering as the yearround Director of Operations at Pine Springs Ranch for the last two years.
