Listen to Amanda's Story

As of April 2012, Amanda was hired by the Orange Church to start a youth program. Teamed up with the Southeastern California Conference Youth Department and Living It (the new NAD public high school ministry program) she is
developing a proposal of public school ministry for Orange County that involves having the church be a presence on campus and in the community. While working on her BA in Ministry through Music at La Sierra University, Amanda led worship experience programs at churches around the United States with her ministry-focused vocal group, With Praise, until she graduated in 2006. Afterwards, she dove head first into youth ministry in the Northern California Conference, before returning home to Southeastern California Conference in 2008. Amanda is preparing for her MDiv at Fuller Theological Seminary and hopes to start the InMinistry MDiv program from the Theological Seminary at Andrews University very soon. Supported by her husband Jeff, Amanda continues to accept speaking and singing engagements both locally and abroad. This summer she will be preaching at a three-week evangelistic campaign in the Philippines with 14
other speakers and pastors. In their free time, Amanda and Jeff enjoy going to Disneyland, reading good books, and playing with their Havanese puppy, Sadie. They will be celebrating their third anniversary this spring.
