Listen to Josie's Story

As of April 2012, Josie was born and raised in Southern California and is a product of Adventist education. She received a BA in religious studies from La Sierra University in 2006 and, while attending La Sierra, became actively involved in ministry. She served and led a mission’s leadership team and was given the opportunity to participate in Global Evangelism to start a church plant. After serving as a children’s pastor for two years, she decided to further her education at Andrews University’s Theological Seminary where she served on the leadership team for the Woman’s Clergy Network, the Black
Student Association, and the Seminary Student Forum; was a student pastor, and the director of FUSION worship. She graduated in 2010 with an MDiv and is currently serving as an associate pastor at the Corona SDA Church. Pastor Josie loves to have fun, loves to eat, and loves to laugh, but most of all she loves to talk about Jesus!
