Listen to Kathy's Story

As of April 2012, Kathy is the director of Employee Spiritual Care & Wholeness at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
She began her career as a nurse, focusing in the field of oncology. Nearly 15 years later, she returned to school and graduated with a master’s degree in clinical ministry, which well equipped her for her role of nurturing employees’ spiritual health. Her call to ministry was affirmed last summer when she was commissioned. Kathy enjoys leading worship at her church, cooking, and putting up fruit and vegetables from the garden and orchard. She and her husband, Jim (a nephrologist), have 21-year-old twins, Mark and Lisa, who are students at Walla Walla University.
