As of April 2012: For the past eight years, Sharon has served as the financial administration and stewardship pastor of the Pioneer Memorial Church in Berrien Springs, Michigan. During her more than 33 years of denominational service, she has served the church as the Trust Director for Andrews University, Associate Trust Director for the Ohio Conference, Departmental Director (Communications and Auditing) for the Wisconsin Conference, business manager for Wisconsin Academy, and accountant for Cedar Lake Academy in Michigan. Sharon, who attended 11 colleges and universities while following her husband’s career, holds a BS in general studies from Andrews University and is currently pursuing a master’s in pastoral ministry at the Theological Seminary. Sharon and her husband, Richard, associate treasurer, Lake Union Conference, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in June of 2012. They have two children, Rick and Kara, and four grandchildren, Joshua, Micah, Anna, and Richard.
