As of last year April 2012, Karen was the managing editor of Andrews University Seminary Studies in Berrien Springs, Michigan and served as an Adjunct for Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences, Orlando, Florida. In the past, she has served as a contract faculty for Andrews University’s undergraduate department of Religion and Biblical Languages and has been a guest professor at Newbold College, Binfield, Bracknell, Berkshire, England, and for the Andrews University School of Architecture’s study abroad program in Italy. Karen has also published a number of scholarly articles and reviews and is currently co-writing a book at the Midwest Center for Religion and Consciousness and oversaw the planning and funding of several interdisciplinary conferences, two of which were held in England and Italy. Karen’s degrees include: PhD Religion, candidate (2012), Andrews University; MDiv equivalent, Andrews University; MA Community Counseling, Andrews University; BA Theology, with a minor in Biblical Languages; AAS Quality Technology, West Ark Community College. She has also studied music performance (organ) and biology at the undergraduate level.
