Ida Smith

As of last year April 2012, Ida serves as the assistant pastor of the Downsview Church, a board member of the Toronto Adventist District School Board, and a member of the Advisory Committee of the Family Life Department of the Ontario Conference. 

Ida began pastoral ministry in 2010 in the Ontario Conference. She has a passion for souls and has been a Bible instructor for over 15 years.

Ida holds a Diploma in teacher education, a BA in psychology from York University, a master’s in pastoral ministry from the Theological Seminary at Andrews, and is currently enrolled in a clinical pastoral education program. 

Ida and her husband Douglas take pleasure in working as a team in ministry, traveling, and spending time with their families.
