Paula Oliver

As of last April 2012, Paula serves as the pastor of the First Adventist Church of Montclair in Montclair, New Jersey. She began pastoral ministry in 2004 in the Allegheny East Conference.

She has a passion for innovative and relevant ministry that ministers to the church and the local community. She is the founder of the Life Skills Academy for youth and serves on several community boards servicing the city of Montclair and Essex County. 

Paula holds a BA in theology with a minor in psychology from Oakwood University, a MDiv with an emphasis in New Testament studies from the Theological Seminary, and a DMin from the United Theological Seminary with an emphasis on leadership and preaching. 

Paula is married to Smith Olivier, an ordained minister of the New Jersey Conference. They enjoy preaching, traveling, playing tennis and just having fun.
