An Understanding of the Biblical View on Homosexual Practice and Pastoral Care The sacredness, beauty and relevancy of marriage is diminished as never before in contemporary culture, society, and law, because the growing influence of a secular sexual ideology and practice have undermined biblical standards of sexual morality and family relations.
Unprecedented Meetings Examines Church's Missional Structure An historic meeting of administrative leaders of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in North America met near Dulles Airport outside Washington D.C. on May 13-15, 2014, to discuss the future of the Church and its structure, organization and mission.
LEAD Our message is powerful. Our beginning was providential. Our emphasis is prophetic. From a handful of disappointed North Americans, we have become a worldwide, multicultural movement that seeks to point people back to scripture. We can make a compelling argument directly from the Word, and we seek to inspire people to return to a more biblical approach to Christianity.
Supporting Pastors During Church Transitions In general, moving, relocating, transitioning, or however you want to categorize it, is known as the soon-to-be plight of most pastors in ministry. It's not a matter of if we will relocate, but when. We all get a sense of what Abraham must have felt like when the Lord told him to move his household to a land that He would show him. (Genesis 12:1-3) At least for us, we are told or share in the process of where we are moving. Supporting and staying close to pastors and their families during what can be a very stressful time is an essential work for ministerial directors.
