The G Plan
Proverbs 16:3

By Dr. Roland J. Hill

Wisdom People understand the value of a plan. A plan is a road map to ones destiny. It is the guide for ones life. Without a plan the chances of us reaching our goals, arriving at our destiny are next to impossible. But our plans, whileimportant, are myopic.  Our plans are limited in their scope. They canonly take into consideration what we hope, wise, desire but not what we know. They cannot take into consideration the disappointments, the detours, or life’s derailments. That's why we are often forced to abandon our plans. ThereforeWisdom instructs us, "But God in charge of your work (Plan), then what you've planned will take place." Plans made by an all-knowing God are tailored for our lives. They take into consideration everything that is crucial to reach our goals and arrive at our destiny. When we trust God for the planning of our lives, we can confidently, optimistically, and excitedly, not walk through, but run through life knowing that we will, we will reach our goals and arrive at our destiny.

The Prayer

Dear All-knowing God,

Thank you for caring enough to tailor-make a plan for my life. A plan that often I don't understand and don't know where it is leading. A plan that leads often through dark paths, rough roads, and impossible places, but ultimately to the wonderful destiny you have for me.  So I ask you Dear Father, to teach me how to trust you, how to live by faith. Give me the wisdom not to get off your plan for my life an exit to early. In the Loving name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
