NAD Ministerial Department - Say So

Greetings from the Ministerial Department!

NAD Ministerial Team Visits AU Seminary

Patric's new iPad“Oh!! This is so awesome!!…Thank you Jesus!!” were the words expressed by Patrick Desire, a first year seminary student from Miami Florida as he opened a box containing a brand new iPad. Patrick, an unsponsored student, had his name selected in a random drawing of students who had registered for a free subscription to the NAD Ministerial weekly newsletter entitled Best Practices for Adventist Ministry.

Ivan Williams, NAD Ministerial director wanted to “show support to all the students at the seminary and give one pastoral candidate a valuable tool for ministry.” The drawing which was held during the seminary chapel was just one of several opportunities that NAD Ministerial staff enjoyed during their March 11-13 visit to the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary.   The visit coincided with career day at the seminary and although many conferences were able to meet with pastoral candidates, not all conferences attended.  Shawn Boonstra, from NAD Ministerial took digital resumes from students to upload them to www.nadministerial.org where resumes would be password protected and viewable only by potential employers.
